AFTER-WORD: Thursday, May 18, 2006
Ned Lamont is the fellow challenging Joe Lieberman in Connecticut’s Democrat primary. He’s recently released a commercial which depicts him sitting on his couch, discussing health care. Behind him, through an open window, peers Markos “KOS” Moulitsas Zúniga, the lefty uber-blogger. He peers through the back window like a stalker. He summons friends, who stand outside the window and wave. They break into Lamont’s house and begin waving and making faces behind him as “KOS” sits next to him on the couch.
It’s a freaky ad, the kind of things which might act badly upon even the strongest stomach. It at least heavily strains credulity.
Fortunately for us, Hot Air has taken the commercial, added a background theme, and made it all understandable. (Click the link and check it out.)
To Texas at the stadium this afternoon, 6-2. They’re now a half game in back of Boston, one up on Toronto. Oh, it’s still early.
Cleveland is 7 ½ back, but Sabathia is healthy and Detroit and Chicago can’t keep this stuff all season. Then again, this is the first year in which I’ve monitored the AL Central.

Ummm, that’s a creepy commercial. But it is a parable on how liberals see nothing wrong with entering into someone’s house, uninvited, and telling them what to do.
