11/30/2006: 8:51 pm: Markpolitics and politicians
Eventually, yes.
A few notes. I’ve just found that a friend of mine, goes by the nom de guerre Tully, is blogging at a place called Stubborn Facts. There a four of them at this group blog. I haven’t yet had the chance to peruse it, but anything with which Tully is associated is of the highest quality.
Another friend, whose name I will not presently drop, interviews Donald Rumsfeld tomorrow. She’s not a journalist; rather, she’s interviewing the SecDef as a blogger.
Another friend, Jason High, is going to work as the legislative director for our local, freshman state senator.
It will be cold tomorrow. In the evening.

Thanks for the notice, Mark! I’m one of the 4 Stubborn Facts bloggers, which we started after we all met on Centerfield. The other 2 characters are Simon, who has a passion for textualist judicial interpretation and Bobby, who is a major in the U.S. Army, currently detached to the State Department on a high-level assignment in Iraq. He’s kind of busy, so we don’t get to hear from him as oten as we’d like. But if you want to know something about what’s going on in Iraq from somebody who really, truly, knows, go check out all of his posts. Me, I’m a lawyer, and have spent most of my career working in state government on several levels, including serving for 4 years as one of the primary attorneys for the Louisiana governor.
Please do stop by and read us from time to time. We try to be objective without being dry and devoid of opinion, and we love a good debate which is backed up on all sides by actual facts.
P.S. And you’re quite right, Tully is definitely a quality guy.
