The Sunday morning talk shows - a preview
For Sunday, February 17, 2008

FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace chats with Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell about FISA. Then he turns to Obama guy Jim Doyle of Wisconsin and Clinton-dude and Ted Strickland of Ohio.
Meet the Press (NBC): Tim Russert hosts a Dem argument between Clinton supporter Chuck Schumer and Obama guy Dick Durbin.
This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos talks to Republican Presidential near-nominee John McCain.
Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer chats it up with Obama strategist David Axelrod; Howard Wolfson of the ever-changing Hillary campaign; Obama Surrogate Doug Wilder of Richmond; and Hillary surrogate Antonio Villaraigosa of Los Angeles.
Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer talks to Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindall.

Questions should be asked on MTP, though Russert won’t, about the strength of the support of Schumer for fellow NY Senator Clinton and of Durbin for fellow Illini Obama. They were kind of forced into those camps, what with it being their junior Senators going for the big prize.
The Democrats are playing games with our national security, and hopefully Mike McConnell (FNS) will call them on it.
McCain’s vacationing in Arizona, so it would not surprise me if the Steph interview (TW) was taped on Friday.
More surrogates for Dem candidates and the morning ends well, with Governor Jindall.
I’ll have the report here at RedState early tomorrow afternoon.
