The most holy Reverend Jeremiah Wright, Barack Obama’s pastor/spiritual guide, spoke this morning to the National Press Club. He gave a short speech in which he talked about oppression and how blacks do not worship the same God as do whites, then he took questions. In his answers, he reaffirmed that America is responsible for what happened on 9-11-01, Louis Farrakhan is a great man, “God damn America,” etc., and he did it a condescending and jovial manner. (I don’t find anything wrong with condescension to the press, but he reached beyond that to his entire C-SPAN audience.)

He said that Obama’s going to say what he’s going to say because he is nothing but a politician. Wright said he had a ministry to defend.

That’s Wright, and he’s going nowhere.
