The most high Reverend Jeremiah Wright (retired) is angry at the New York Times, and he sent them a letter last month to vent his most high reverend spleen. Here is the text of his March 11 letter to the NYT’s Jodi Kantor, who had interviewed Wright and written a piece about it.

It is kind of funny, and pots are calling kettles all sorts of foul names.

And to show that the most high Reverend Wright has no political agenda, here is a ‘graph from that letter:

I forgot that The New York Times was leading the bandwagon in trumpeting why it is we should have gone into an illegal war. The New York Times became George Bush and the
Republican Party’s national “blog.” The New York Times played a role in the outing of Valerie Plame. I do not know why I thought The New York Times had actually repented and was going to exhibit a different kind of behavior.

Okay, so the guy’s a little loopy. None of this overrides the good things he has done, whatever they might be.
